What you will do
• Infrastructure as Code: Architect and maintain our Terraform module library and layered state architecture across several AWS accounts. Design reusable modules consumed by multiple product teams. Drive standards for state management, provider configuration, and security scanning.
• Kubernetes Platform: Evolve our EKS platform running Cilium CNI, Karpenter autoscaling, KubeBlocks for stateful workloads, and VictoriaMetrics for observability. Build golden paths for teams to deploy and operate their services on Kubernetes.
• CI/CD Platform: Own and develop our CircleCI and deployment automation. Drive the evolution of our pipeline architecture including evaluating and migrating to new CI platforms where appropriate.
• Developer Experience: Build self-service tooling and internal platforms that reduce the operational burden on product developers. Design abstractions that let teams own their infrastructure without needing deep AWS expertise.
• Security Architecture: Design IAM strategies across our multi-account estate, manage WAFv2 rule sets, maintain compliance tooling (Security Hub, GuardDuty, Inspector, CloudTrail), and drive security improvements identified in post-mortems.
• Technology Evaluation: Research and recommend new tools, services, and approaches through time-boxed technical spikes. We maintain a culture of structured investigation – you will have the autonomy to evaluate options, document your findings, and drive adoption.

We are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to take architectural ownership of infrastructure-as-code estate and lead the development of internal platforms that enable product teams to ship safely and independently. The work is to design and build the foundations - CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes platforms, Terraform modules, and developer tooling - that the rest of the engineering organisation depends on. A software engineering background is preferred. The internal tooling includes Python libraries, CLI tools, and automation that require real engineering discipline - not just scripts.We offer
